Larry Duguay was born and raised in St. John, New Brunswick. He graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in chemistry in 1978 and an MBA with a double major in finance and accounting in 1980. That same year, he married his wife of 35 years, Cathy, and accepted a position with IBM Canada in Toronto. Larry spent over ten years in an enriching corporate environment, garnering several promotions.

In 1990, Larry and Cathy Duguay moved to Bradenton, Florida where Larry founded PLUS Financial. They have been enjoying the beautiful sunshine state ever since, taking advantage of the weather with their passion for golf. They have two wonderful daughters, Nikki and Dani, who are both achieving successes of their own after attending the University of Florida.

Larry has over 30 years of accounting services and tax preparation for small businesses.
